WE DID IT!
Together with people in Bela Rechka we restored the stairs leading to the Bell Tower of Gorna Bela Rechka within three days. There is more to be done but now everyone can have easy and normal access to this beloved place. Gorna Bela Rechka has no church, so the Bell Tower is a place for quiet contemplation. It offers a beautiful view of the entire village.
These stairs were first built by our father in 2008, on his own initiative. They were then restored and maintained several times by volunteers who came to Gorna Bela Rechka every May for years before the Festival of Memories.
In the last few years, the stairs to the Bell Tower were not maintained and were in poor condition.
